2009 CLP Intern Steven Dolan produced
and starred in this promotional video.
We currently have unpaid internship positions available to work with us on the Seattle Digital Literacy Initiative, or on reporting, production, and nonprofit management.
CLP Internship
Interns spend approximately half of their time supporting the CLP’s administration and operations and half of their time assisting in multimedia production or reporting projects, depending on production and administrative needs. CLP interns contribute to our online presence through Facebook, Twitter, Google AdWords, and e-newsletters, and for working on print design projects. Our internship positions are flexible, and can be a great fit for students interested in nonprofit management, design, marketing, event planning or entrepreneurial journalism.

We want to support emerging multimedia journalists. If you have a story you’d like to pitch to us, write to submissions@clpmag.org.
We are interested in work that is original, rigorously reported and designed for online presentation. All stories must include visuals and we give priority to stories that incorporate multimedia.
Our rates vary depending on the medium, length and complexity of assigned stories, but generally range from $50-100. CLP contributors retain all rights to their work.
We also offer fiscal sponsorship, administrative and editorial support and promotion for some reporting projects.
Some examples of contributor work include:
Born in Bangladesh
Arab Uprising
Dismantling a Dangerous Past (video)
If you are interested in collaborating with the CLP on this level write to us at submissions@clpmag.org or fill out and submit this Request for Proposals.
